Salmon

So for the salmon and rice the image also being from my instagramšŸ¤£, it is a simple recipe you can make and does not require too many things. As well as only taking perhaps 30-45 mins, this would be ideal for a light lunch or dinner with the option of adding some salad on the side to accompany the rice and salmon.

What you'll need:
  • Salmon fillets; these you can buy from Tesco or anywhere that sells fish
  • Choice of sauce (for this we used Nandos sauce to put on the salmon)
  • Rice
  • Spring onion
  • Tumeric (optional)
  • Chilli powder (optional)
Step 0: Defrost the salmon if it was frozen or move straight onto step 1
step 1: Boil the rice in water until it is ready
step 2: With the salmon place it onto a tray to put it into the oven, wrap in tinfoil and apply the sauces you have chosen or need onto the salmon almost like you are marinading the salmon (Its optional if you want to wrap the salmons in tinfoil when they go into the oven to avoid the salmon sauces from others getting mixed with it or from the sauces to end up getting dried around the salmon)
step 3: On the salmon add some spring onion onto it as if you are adding garnish
step 4: Put the salmon in the oven and cook it for around 30-40 mins and it should finally be done
